With the advent of the Industrial Revolution, a new modern aristocracy lifestyle emerged. We were too busy modifying our exteriors that it took a toll on the inside. Being a kid of 1990s, I have fairly seen the tech revolution first hand. From mobiles being the status symbol of upper class to witnessing the emergence of affordable smart gadgets, indeed the evolution of tech has changed our day to day lives for the betterSmart home devices can save money and enable homeowners to track expenditure and energy usage.
One might be living in a gated society with a security guard for 24 hours but let's be real, most societies in India still lack the basic level of security and are hit by burglars and thiefs regularly. Finding reliable security personnel is a task in itself. With improved and affordable smart cameras, this domain has seen an overhaul. Now, you can check live CCTV footage on your smart phone from anywhere in the world and also get notifications in case of unwanted activity. Owing to these smart devices families can feel much safer when they leave their homes.

Fitness band and smart speaker are the quintessential part of my day to day life. The fitness band keeps me motivated to run the last lap & burn the desired calories. It keeps me informed about my heart rate & also ensures I complete my beauty sleep. I get notified about calls and notification even without having to check my phone constantly. Best of all I don't have to remove it even while swimming.
Similarly, my Smart Speakers save me the trouble of manually playing the songs in the middle of a party. Anyone can play the song of their choice just by saying the name. I can make calls, be informed about the latest news  & weather, control my smart home devices, all this without having to strain my eyes any further after sitting in front of the laptop in office for hours. Oh, how thankful I am because no more does my toe gets hurt while trying to switch on the lights in the dark. It works like fairytales, where the fairy would clap her hands & get whatever she wanted right in front of her. Smart Home solutions have metamorphosed fairytale into reality.

It is expected that, in 2020, the average age of an Indian will be 29 years, compared to 37 for China and 48 for Japan. Given the demography status, Smart Wearables make the perfect fit for the Indian population. Campaigns like #FitIndia & Yoga Day have lead the millennials towards a better & smart life. Gym selfies while adorning the smart bands, sharing fitness stats over social media has become the new fad. However, there is an implicit impact as even when not working out or going for a jog, its presence on the wrist constantly reminds one about her fitness goals, workout regime and more. Thus to make our lives healthier, smarter & efficient, Smart wearables are the need of the hour. After all embracing one's body is important, it's the most amazing thing you can ever own.
